Literacy:

We support every year the deserving and needy children from class 8th to metric and onward upto B.com.

Only those children who get stuck up and are unable to carry on their studies due to financial problems. Members usually support this noble cause through their own contributions.

We also do fund raising once a year on the occasion of “Diwali Festival” to generate funds and to meet the expenses of our on going projects.

We support minimum of 8 to 10 students. The fact remains that to work for any such projects, financial support is needed and unless it is fulfilled smooth working is not possible. It is always the privileged class whom Almighty has bestowed with His Blessings, consider supporting such noble cause and help the less privileged classes.

At a time we also support children with school uniforms.

Each child cost us approximately Rs.3600/- per year and some members from our own Association voluntarily adopt a child to meet the educational expenses. This is how we manage and support our educational project.

Health:

Our Association is also running a Charitable Health Clinic in Bakshan Society, Gizri, where poor patients are treated at a very minimum charges. We intend to provide more facilities to the deserving patients so that they could avail the benefit under one roof without any difficulties whatsoever. But once again funds are required to meet this targeted cause.

However, Pak Hindu Welfare Association is affiliated with some good hospitals in Karachi and whenever, any serious patient approach us, we recommend them to those hospitals where they get the treatment at a concessional charges.

Apart from the Clinic and arrangements with the hospitals, we have our own plot where we are planning to construct school and hosipital for the less privileged. But, presently it is beyond our reach as good amount of finance is required and we are looking for various avenues to get support for our this project.

Sports Activities:

Pak Hindu Welfare Association is also working on encouraging the youth of the community in the field of sports. We motivate youth to take part in any kind of sports so that they find their place on merit.

It is worth mentioning that without having any facilities i.e. Gymkhana or sports ground, Community has produced two cricketers of national level. One is Anil Dalpat and the other is Danish Kaneria. Not only cricket there are players who have achieved their place in snookers.

The Association is in constant touch with the Government for restoration of Hindu Gymkhana where they can have their religious and cultural activities for the benefit of the youth in thecommunity.

Computer Classes

The Association is planning to start Computer Classes where short courses will be offered to the youth of the community.

Women Development program

The Association is focusing on the development of women in the community so that they can have their respective place in the society.

The Association mostly focus on the remote areas and specially the down trodden where people have no clean water to drink and afford one time meal. The Association is trying hard to create awareness among the families so that they are motivated and encouraged to send their children to get education.

Co-operative Housing Society:

The Association is working on the Co-operative Housing Society. Membership have been completed and now the concerned committee is in contact with the Government
for allotment of the plot in a suitable locality to proceed further.


Credit Co-operative Society:

The Association has established a Credit Co-operative Society among own members. Every month each member pay Rs.500/= and whatever the amount is collected, same is invested. The income generated from the investment is once again spent on the deserving as well as contribute towards their ongoing projects.

Diwali Celebration

The Association is planning Fund Raising on the occasion of Diwali to support some of its on going Projects. In order to cover the function, a souvenir will be printed and a musical evening will be organizaned.
